“In Search Of WISDOM”

1/26/14

The Start of A New Year is A Good Time to Seek and Search for Wisdom, Gods Wisdom, Divine Wisdom. Wisdom  to meet the challenges that more than likely will come our way. Jesus said in this life you will have trials and tribulations (John 16:33). Wisdom is simply the ability to view things from God’s perspective and on the basis of his word.

WE ACQUIRE WISDOM BY SEEKING IT AS HIDDEN TREASURE (Proverbs 2:1-7).  We must hunt for it dig through the pages of God’s Word the Bible, through it God Speaks to Us, We must be willing to listen to his Voice perceive his mind and understand his purposes.

WE ACQUIRE WISDOM BY MEDITATING ON GOD’S WORD. The Bible gives us the means by which we learn to know the Lord. The Bible says if we draw near to him he will draw near to Us. (James 4:8). Each day you should create time to be with him One on One, Quite time seeking Wisdom for the days journey, how to invest your time, your life for today.

WE ACQUIRE WISDOM BY PRAYING SPECIFICALLY FOR IT (James 1:5). The Bible says if We ask ANYTHING ACCORDING TO HIS WILL HE HEARS US (1 John 5:14). We never know what a day may bring; when unexpected trouble comes we are prone to Worry, Fuss, and Fret, but a wise person will go to the Lord asking for wisdom, discernment. How do you want me to respond to this Situation and because of your relationship with him he will help you to respond correctly.
