Trusting in the Faithfulness of God

Lamentation 3:22, 23,   1 Corinthians 10:13

When you are waiting on the performance of God’s promise, when your prayers seem to go unanswered. What do you do? Some give up on prayer, and remain confused, but there is something the Christian must remember; that is that the God we Serve is always FAITHFUL. In life there are times when Our trust in God is tested it’s part of the Christian Journey. God oftentimes tested the saints in the Old Testament and in the New Testament. God’s FAITHFULNESS means that he always does the right thing in every situation. Although circumstances change God never changes (Malachi 3:6).

If we understand the attributes of God it would give one Hope and Strength and have confidence in his FAITHFULNESS for Instances;

Omniscience– God can be faithful because He knows all things, he knows the Past,  Present, and Future and he knows all about you.

Omnipotence– God has all Power (Matthew 28:18). He is all powerful even the obstacles and trials in life that seem to spoil God’s Plan are also used to fulfill his Plan when we trust him.

Omnipresence– Just knowing he is always available is a comfort to Our Spirit under no circumstance can you Flee from his presence or be Separated from him.

Truthfulness All the promises of God are Yes and AMEND (1 Corinthian 1:20). He will not lie or misguide you. He will do what he promised and remain true to his own nature.

Immutability God’s Character and attributes cannot change, if this is altered in any way his FAITHFULLNESS would also be subject to revision and would therefore be unreliable

“Waiting On God’s Timing”

Philippians 4:4-7

God’s love to us is demonstrated to us by his ability to meet our needs, but he doesn’t give us everything we desire when we want it. Otherwise he’d take second Place our lives, because our main concern would be the things he could do for us.  Oftentimes, our request aren’t always in line with his will, and when they are in line with his will and plan; sometimes we might find ourselves waiting until they hit his agenda. Instead of seeing delays as obstacles or denials we should look at them as Loving interventions of our heavenly father, By rushing ahead, we miss his best blessings.

Isaiah 64:4 tells us that God acts in behalf of those who wait for him.  Psalm 27:14 also is a word to encourage you to be Patience and wait on God’s timing.  Why Are We Required to Wait For God’s Timing? To receive what God has for us, we must be willing to wait while he acts on our behalf. To ready the circumstances, When We are walking in the Lord’s will he will navigate the circumstance to bring about the right conditions at the right time, so his plan can be fulfilled.

To protect us from making mistakes when the Lord sees us headed down the wrong road, he lovingly intervenes by putting bumps or road blocks in our way. God loves us too much to let us go down a road of destruction. To make the greatest impact for our lives, when God chooses to withhold an answer to prayer, he’s not being unkind. The God we serve is Omniscient he knows all about is, he’s actually demonstrating pure love by doing what is beneficial for us. Delays do not mean denial its simply Not Now.

“A Heart For God=A Vision For The World”

Matthew 28:19       John 3:16

If it were not for the Good News the Gospel of Our Lord JESUS CHRIST, Where Would You Be? You would be lost without hope and bound for eternal judgment. There are many people who fit this description today. This is why the church must be willing and prepared to share the gospel outside the walls of a building.

Believers must have both a heart for God and a compassion for the lost. It was the last directive Christ gave to the church before ascending back to the father, (Luke 24:45-49). What you have Seen you must Share.

What Does A Heart For God Look Like? A Desire to know Him. When you have a heart for God you have a desire to know him. The Psalmist has said: As the deer pants for Water, So Pants My Soul for you, O God (Psalm 42:1). It’s not a matter of learning facts, but rather a pursuit of an increasingly personal relationship with him.

A Desire To Obey Him. before his Ultimate Sacrifice JESUS told his disciples, if you Love me you will keep my Commandments (John 14:15). Love for Christ means Obedience.

Desire To Share Him. Go into all the World and tell others about him. The song should ring loud and clear in Our Voice Go tell it On the Mountain that JESUS CHRIST is born-he is alive and in the World today if we don’t tell it, they won’t know how desperate they are if believers don’t share his message.

God’s Plan Is The Missionary Church. The Person of JESUS CHRIST-He is the one who offered his life as a Substitutionary atonement for our Sins. And by his divine authority we have been commanded to tell others about his offer of FORGIVENESS.
