The Pastor Speaks
Let the words of Apostle Paul ring loud and clear in our hearts and mind. Rejoice in the Lord always and again I will say, Rejoice (Philippians 4:4) God through His grace has given into Us. So many reasons too Rejoice. This is the day the Lord has made. Let Us Rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24).
A new day another opportunity to thank the Lord for His Compassions they fail Not, (Lamentations 3:22-23). His promise to Never leave you Nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). God through His Son has committed Himself to be with you each and every day, He has given unto Us opportunities to come together to rejoice together (Roman 12:15). Rejoice in the fact that God has promised to meet our every need (Philippians 4:19) to come and See about you.
The words of St. Augustine come to mind. “Rejoice Not in earthly reality, rejoice in Christ, rejoice in His word, rejoice in His law. There will be peace and tranquility in the Christian heart; but only as long as our Faith is watchful, if however our Faith Sleeps, we are in danger”.
