Psalm 119
The Theme of this Unique psalm is The Word of God. Every verse except (5) Five (84, 90, 121, 122, 132) refers to God’s Word. What it is and what it can do in your life, if you let it. The arrangement is also unique. There are (22) twenty-two sections of (8) eight lines each, and the lines in each individual section begin with the same letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The first (8) eight lines begin with Aleph the next (8) eight lines begin with Beth and so on through all twenty-two letters.
Listen to the writers words from the first (8) eight verses 119:1-8 He’s saying, knowing and obeying God’s Word will bring blessings to your life, Some of which are given in the following sections. But if God is to bless you, you must Sincerely Seek the Lord and Not just Study the bible. It is Not facts in the head but truth in the heart that makes you grow in the Lord. You must seek the Lord (Jeremiah 29:13).
Review Psalm 1
Blessing (VV.1-3) God enjoys blessing your life but you must be bless able that means Discernment (V.1). Blessing involves Delight (V.2) Blessing involves Dependence (V.3); there are blessings for those who seek to follow God’s Word. But how tragic that anyone is perishing when Jesus offers abundant life (VV. 4-6).

Psalm 119
God’s Word
Speaking from this psalm it’s emphasis is on The Word of God. Scripture tells us that as God’s children the earth is not our home, so scripture refer to Us as Pilgrims, Foreigners or as Strangers; as mentioned in (Vs.19, 1 Peter 2:11).
You need a road map to help you navigate your way. The road map is the Bible. As you open it, ask God to open your eyes to the word (v.18) and keep your eyes on the way (Hebrews 12:2), (Proverbs 3:1-6). Let the Word of God be your trusted counselor (v.24). ( Vs.119:105) in a dark world we need the light of God’s word to keep you from the traps and detours of the enemy.
