“A Strong Life”

Matthew 7:24-29      Philippians 4:13

Everyone is building their lives on something, either the firm foundation of the Scriptures or the unstable sands of this world. But, no matter what you’ve done in the past or how old you are it’s never too late to begin building on the (rock) the rock in the scripture in reference to JESUS CHRIST.

Characteristics of a Strong Life

As you think about the following characteristics, ask yourself if these are true of you, a person with a strong life.

Has trusted in JESUS CHRIST as his personal Savior: This is the starting point and God’s desire for all humanity.

Is Guided By the Holy Spirit: At the moment of Salvation God’s Holy Spirit takes up residence in the believer. His function is to enable the believer, to direct his/her steps and help you make wise choices.

Seeks the Lord Through Prayer: Has a daily diet of Prayer and connecting with JESUS CHRIST about each days journey.

Is Committed to God’s Word: He has accepted the challenge of II Timothy 2:15.

Sees the Lord Jesus As the Strength of His Life: The person with a Strong life has built his/her life upon the word of God. He/she is able to do all things through Him who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13).

Has Strong Faith: When a strong life is tested, it comes through the trials with greater faith. Wise Men and Women recognize that there’s a lesson in every difficult situation and they want each experience to increase their faith.
